Cloud Shot

This past Saturday the 20th of October I had the chance to photograph a hanging cold front that produced and incredible stationary cloud formation. My son called and alerted me to this awesome site and my wife an I charged right out to look for a suitable spot to shoot it. We ended up at Granite pier in Rockport which gave us some height over the water and some interesting foreground subjects. Here are a few from the shoot.



Notice the small sailboat adding scale to the height of the clouds.



I looked around for something to add scale and give me some foreground this flag and fish house did the trick.
