Daily photo musings
Good evening,
A couple of days ago my boys dropped the hint that they needed to hand in their senior pictures. When I asked when they needed them "tomorrow" was the response. So I pulled apart the living room and turned it into a studio. I hung a blue background paper left over from a shoot a long time ago and set up the dyna lites in the usual key and fill.
The boys dressed up in shirt, tie and jacket and away we went. I made the shots with my Canon 1D Mkll and the 100 f2.0 lens. Of course I shot it in raw and converted with C1 SE. The results were just amazing. The clarity is way over the top. I know if I had shot with a film camera and ISO 100 film it would have not looked anything like it. Simply amazing!
I would like to comment on a great photo blog http://theonlinephotographer.blogspot.com/. It's a wonderful blog about everything photo related and I truly enjoy it. The author Mike Johnston has started to sell prints of his on the blog. In most cases I don't see a problem here but the images are really mediocre. Most people must not agree with me because the photos are selling like crazy. Partially because he receives so many hits per day. I guess their is no telling what some folks consider as art.
Some time in the future I am going to start selling my images in the same manner. Now I just need about 20,000 hits a day.
That's all for now.
Ciao
