I was lucky in this instance because the lighting was not that bad. I was able to shoot at 250 sec at 3.5 at ISO 800. The way to make your shots stand out is to use two lights to create a nice highlight which makes the images pop. In this shot I used a Quantum Qflash with the diffuser and a Lumidyne battery pack. Christmas day itself was warm with a little rain and clouds. Near sundown the storm front started to clear and I began thinking of a way to photograph it. I ran out to Halibut Point State Park in Rockport because it was near the front and the sun going down. It truly was a gift. I had a blast looking for interesting scenes. This interesting shot presented itself with the wall ad overlooking the area. It was shot with a Canon 10D and a Canon 70-200 f2.8 set at about 170. It was shot in Raw mode and processed in C1 SE.
